The Stika range of vinyl cutters are ideal for offices, schools, restaurants, stores, workshops and hobbyists, Roland STIKA vinyl cutters produce colorful POP displays, labels, and iron-ons. Creating custom vinyl graphics has never been faster or more affordable. The machine is bundled with CutStudio software which lets users tile up to 64 designs and contour cut printed images. The amazing features include a lightweight, compact design, Sheet Adjust Lever, USB connection, Roland CutStudio software included, Print/cut solution, tiling: Cut up to 64 tiles, Available in 8″, 12″ and 15″ widths The STIKA comes in three models. The SV-8 accepts 215.9mm wide media and cuts up to 158mm wide. The SV-12 accepts 305mm wide media and cuts up to250mm wide. The SV-15 accepts300mm- or 380mm media and cuts up to 337 mmwide. They all handle vinyl, reflective vinyls, twill, heat transfer, and etching material.
Print/Cut Solution
In addition to cutting vinyl and other materials, the new STIKA makes an easy-to-use and cost-effective print/cut solution. Users print registration marks with their desktop printer, load the printed graphic into the cutter, send the file to the STIKA and it contour cuts the graphics. It’s perfect for creating colorful POP displays, and iron ons using forever paper which is compatible with laser inkjets.
CutStudio Software
Every STIKA ships with Roland CutStudio. This powerful design software lets you reduce, re-position, rotate, tile and mirror images. It enlarges images as crisp as original size and cuts TrueType fonts without outlining. CutStudio also supports BMP, JPG, STX, AI, and EPS file formats. The latest plugins for Adobe Illustrator (Mac and PC) and Corel Draw (PC) are also included.
These machines are an affordable at home hobby which could turn you into a business giant. Many big companies started with a small little stika machine doing signs and sandblasting for friends and family. The setup costs are not very high and you could end up having a whole lot of fun with these amazing little machines.
